Pamporovo

Ski tracks and equipment

Season 2009/2010 was perfect for the resort - plenty of snow and very well maintained tracks. Under similar conditions a ski season may last from the mid of December till mid and even end of April.

The ski zone of Pamporovo is located around Snejanka summit between 1450m and 1926m high, and includes 37km of tracks for Alpine skiing with different degree of difficulty from green to black tracks, 25km of tracks for long ski run, a half-pipe track for snowboarding, as well as many suitable places for sleighing. There are more green and blue tracks, which makes the resort fitting both for beginners and experts. Pamporovo offer night skiing and snowboarding on track “Snejanka-2”.
Facing Perelik Hotel, a skating-rink is open, where you can skate listening to pleasant music. The rink offers skates rental.
Pamporovo has nine surface lifts (t-bars and button lifts), and six aerial chairlifts. The chairlift from Smolyan Lakes (10min away from Smilen Hotel) has two chairs and you rarely have to wait in line for it – the ride to Snejanka tower takes no more than 15min.

Ski and snowboard services

Pamporovo offers nine ski wardrobes where you can rent ski and snowboard equipment, and qualified instructors await for you at the ski school. Smilen Hotel can also recommend to you some qualified ski instructors.
